Retaining your data when you leave the College
Pymble Ladies' College will provide departing Year 12 students with access to their College accounts & data for 9 months after they leave. After which, the accounts & data will be permanently deleted to ensure user privacy.
If there is any data you wish to retain, you should move it across to a personal account. In this article you will find steps to assist you in collecting or migrating any data.
All other departing students will lose access to their College accounts immediately.
NB: Pymble provides licensing for products such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Office365, Google Workspace, Canva, etc. Ex-students will lose the linked access to these applications once their Pymble account is deleted. Please be prepared and arrange alternate licensing if required.
Please also be aware that students will lose access to learning platforms such as Seesaw, VC classes and other classroom resources as soon as they leave the College.
Setting up a private email address and storage drive
As you will lose access to your Pymble email, OneDrive and Google Drive, you should set up your own personal account. Here are some suggestions:
Google, Microsoft and iCloud have both an email and file storage service.
Saving your files in a new location
If you set up a Google, Microsoft or iCloud account, you can transfer your files into these online storage accounts. Be mindful that personal OneDrive, Google and iCloud drives have smaller file storage limits than your College storage so you might need to be selective in what you transfer across.
Your laptop will have some local storage capacity but again, this could be smaller than your current Pymble OneDrive storage.
You could also download your files and store them on an external drive which are available for purchase with larger storage capacity.
Download all OneDrive contents
To download all your OneDrive contents, the easiest way is to login on the web and go to MyFiles
Hover your cursor in the top bar and there will appear a selection/radio button to select all files.

After clicking the button, a dialogue will pop up. Click Download to initiate a download of all the files in a single zip file.

Email
Download or export your email
If there are emails you want to keep, you can download them individually following this guide
Alternatively, may be able to export all of the email in your mailbox and import into a new account. You will need to view the help guides associated with your new email provider/software to see if this is possible.
Set up Automatic replies
It is also a good idea to set up an Automatic reply on your email which will inform recipients of your new, personal email address. Again go to the Settings area of Outlook and select Automatic replies

Your Academic Reports
On your MyPymble homepage, you will see an area called Academic Reporting.
Click the download button to download a PDF and save it to your new location.

Transfer subscriptions
If you have used your College email to sign up for any subscriptions or external sites, you will no longer be able to use it to log into them. You will need to edit your login settings in each of these tools and transfer them across to a personal one.
Portfolium (Secondary)
You may wish to retain your Portfolium account and continue to add to it after you leave Pymble.
Go to the VC and under the Account setting select Folio. Then click on your initials to log in.

Once you are logged in to Portfolium, click on your initials and go to your Settings

Go to Email and click to add a new email

Follow the steps in this guide to make your personal email your primary email.
Seesaw (Junior School)
If you wish to download and save a copy of a Seesaw Journal this must be done before the student leaves the College, as typically her Seesaw account will be archived. Follow this guide if you wish to download a copy of Seesaw Journals - How do families save and download their child's journal
